Allt var bra, rummet, frukosten och servicen, fräscht överlag.
Location and the very friendly staff - a home away from home. Hospitality bicycles need to be fixed. 2 hadn’t got a working headlight and the third had a flat tire. In addition the tyres were in need of replacing.

The food was really good at both Miss Voon and the breakfast. Maked sure the mini bar at the room is working correctly. At our room it sounded a lot. We had a hard time sleeping. I told the reception staff in the morning.

Right in the centre of Uppsala, very cloose to train, bus, and all center service, restaurant, etc..nice way to receive us in the recepetion The room a bit to cold, the television did not work, and the stuff was unable to solve that problem, he said , wait untill tomorrow, and i did, without any solution. Some elevators did not work well. i left my iphone charger in my room, and for get it bakc i will have to pay like 10 US dollars, thats a very poor service ..

History of the hotel
Chocolate and Silk – Elite Hotels is elaborating on the quarter's tradition, quality, and flair.
Enterprise has long been the heart and soul of the quarter in which Elite Hotel Academia is situated. One notable example is that this was the original home of the venerable Fyris Chocolate Factory, which was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. The factory made toffees, caramel sweets and a vast assortment of chocolate pralines in delectable shapes and forms. In 1936 the premises were taken over by the Uppsala Sidenväverier silk mill, which produced exclusive and fashionable dress fabric collections of the highest quality. The Post Office was established in the '60s in premises which were ultramodern for the time.

From E4: Follow signs towards Uppsala. Take exit 186 towards Uppsala centre. Follow Kungsängsleden (road 55) through two roundabouts and turn right at Kungsgatan. Drive on to Bäverns Gränd and another 1,5 km to Elite Hotel Academia.
