Elite Stadshotellet, with 132 modern and comfortably appointed rooms, is a recently opened and newly renovated hotel in the middle of Eskilstuna. The hotel, which was destroyed in a massive fire in 2009, has been extensively refurbished and restored to its original appearance and classic charm. In addition, the hotel will now offer modern conference facilities equipped with the latest in meeting technology.
Elite Stadshotellet enjoys a central location on the banks of the Eskilstuna River within walking distance of the bus and train station, city shopping and entertainment. Superior Twin är mer ett litet dubbelrum, dessutom iskallt. Extremt litet badrum likt en lågprisat hotell.
Service, sköna sängar, frukost. Samt fantastiskt gott julbord. Skippa det konstiga duschdraperiet som man trasslade in sig i.....

Frukosten Fråga om jag vill ha kingsize. Blev besviken på att det var sängar som gled isär.
Ingen ljudisolering i rummet. Man kan inte önska sig att ha en gäst under sju dagar som måste vila och samtidigt har en stor fest och rum har ingen ljudisolering. Ni måste fixa ljudisolering!!!

Trevlig personal och väldigt god mat/service på Yvon! Sängarna och kuddarna! Vi var fyra stycken och all hade ont i ryggen. De är alldeles för mjuka. Gäller även kuddarna, vara luft. Annars fräscht rum.

Väldigt trevligt rum! Superbra frukost! Vi blev väldigt nöjda.
Mycket fräsch hotell och rum. Perfekt att det är nära till mycket. Helt ok frukost. Trevlig personal med leende på läpparna. Skön dubbelsäng (delux rum), just de kuddarna vi hade var lite si så där men det hade gått att ordna andra i receptionen. Finns vattenkokare på rummet med kaffe/te. Fanns även strykjärn, fläkt, minibar samt lån av morgonrockar och tofflor. Stort rum vilket uppskattades mest av dottern så hon kunde träna på sin dans inför tävlingen som vi skulle vidare till på morgonen dagen efter. Jag önskar att jag hade kommit ihåg det vissa hade skrivit i sina recensioner om att det skulle vara högljutt från krogen utanför. Hade kanske gått att ordnat att få ett annat rum. Har inte sovit mer än högst 2 timmar den natten. Dottern hade hunnit somnat när det drog igång så jag hade inte hjärta att väcka henne för att gå ner till receptionen och be om ett annat rum. Vi hade vårat rum precis vid en krog. Då vi skulle upp väldigt tidigt på morgonen så blev det så klart tråkigt att det blev så här så jag rekommenderar att prata med personalen och be om ett rum med annat läge om du vet med dig att du är lättväckt eller svårt att sova till ljud och främst om du ska upp tidigt. Det fanns hörselproppar inne på rummet men dessvärre hjälpte inte ens de. Trots detta skulle vi absolut kunna komma tillbaka och bo på Elite i Eskilstuna just tack vare att det var så fräsch och fint, lätt att hitta dit, trevlig personal och nära till mycket.

Rummet och städningen. Perfekt! Frukosten. Bacon ej genomstekt smakade "gris". Våfflorna blev aldrig klara. Mjuka och dingiga trots dubbla gräddningar. Fel på järnet eller smeten?

At Elite Stadshotellet we want to promote health and therefore we offer all who likes to run and exercise default routes in the app Runkeeper. We have produced our favourite rounds as you can easily follow, three routes of varying length from 3 to 8 kilometres.

Route C - Vilstarundan (11 km)
Laundry and dry cleaning left at reception before 9am can generally be collected the same day. Available Monday-Friday.

History of the hotel
Elite Stadshotellet is one of the most elegant meeting places in town and gatherings for up to 500 people can be held as well as banquets for up to 350. All the venues are equipped with the latest conference technology. Although the hotel is a new Elite Hotel, its origins date back to 1939.
For 70 years, the hotel was the largest hotel in the town with conference facilities, restaurant, and nightclub. Just as the hotel was about to celebrate its 70th anniversary, a major fire devastated the oldest part of the building. Three years on, Elite Hotels has taken over, now under the name Elite Stadshotellet.

By car from E20
Take the exit Eskilstuna C and follow the signs towards the city centre. Drive by the church building to your left and follow the road across the bridge. Turn left at the roundabout and you will see the hotel.
By train
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Eskilstuna Central Station. Walk along Drottninggatan, turn right at Hamngatan next to the river (Eskilstunaån). The hotel is opposite the church building with two towers.
