During the renovation period, the main building is closed, and all guests will instead stay at Lilla Hotellet, the charming building situated right next to Stora Hotellet. The renovation is scheduled to continue until summer 2027.

The building also includes a gym and relaxation area, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Mottagandet Informera bättre vid bokningstillfället om att frukosten är i ett trångt litet prång och inte håller samma standard som Elite-hotell i vanliga fall. Jag hade förväntat mig en lyxig övernattning med min dotter men det kändes extremt olyxigt.
Mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och kompetent personal. Rummen är jättebra, snygga och fräscha. Stilfulla till och med. Och frukostbuffén var den bästa jag nånsin varit på under 50 år. Perfekt tillagat och ett rejält utbud. Inget. Vi är så jävla nöjda!

In our relax, you will find a hydromassage pool, sauna, steam room, and a resting room with comfortable beds and a relaxing decorative fire. The relaxation area is open between 06:00-22:00 and needs to be pre-booked at the reception. Admission fee is 195-350 SEK/ person.
GYM
In our gym, you can train both fitness and strength. Here you will find treadmills, a fitness bike and a cross-trainer as well as dumbbells. The gym is open 24 hours a day and is included for all our hotel guests.
MASSAGE
We also offer massages with some of the hotel's masseurs, please contact our staff in the reception for price information and free times.
Enjoy a comfortable stay with your pets at our hotel. We offer a limited amount of rooms for those who want to bring their furry friend along. Stay together with your pet in your room for an additional cost of 300 SEK/stay. Take the time to experience the beautiful nature and enjoy long walks around the hotel area during your stay. Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge, please contact the hotel directly.

History of the hotel
Stora Hotellet was constructed in 1858 and the opening was marked in autumn that year by a magnificent ball for the social elite of the town. Proximity to the castle gave the hotel a certain elegance and created a beautiful backdrop to greet guests on their arrival. The hotel quickly became a meeting point for businessmen and travelers. There was almost probably an inn on this site in the 14th century and its location beside a ford across the river made it a focal point of the town.
A tradition that has lived on almost since the hotel was first opened is the annual market Hindersmässan. The association Bergshanteringens Vänner (Friends of the Mining Industry) holds its annual meeting and dinner here, with people attending from far and wide.

Elite Stora Hotellet Örebro is currently undergoing renovations, and our conference facilities are temporarily closed. In the meantime, we are happy to receive conference inquiries for our sister property, Conventum, which offers flexible spaces for both small meetings and large events.

Getting married is a fantastic experience
We are currently renovating our facilities and are therefore unable to host weddings until after the reopening in May 2027. We are happy to accept wedding inquiries and bookings for dates from 2027 onwards.
Once our venues reopen, we look forward to creating unforgettable weddings for you. We offer several beautiful wedding venues in Örebro for up to 200 guests, menus from our first-class kitchen, and experienced service staff.
