Bed is very comfortable
Renligheten i rummet. Bra frukost. Hotellet ligger på gågatan, närhet till affärer och restauranger. Att rummen skulle kontrolleras bättre innan gäst kom. Det fanns inte värme på, bara ett tunt sommar täcke och ingen hårfön. Allt ordnades dock upp ganska fort, efter påtalande.

Luleå is extremely unfriendly, only one of your staff was professionally nice, but I wouldn't recommend anyone visit the area. You love telling people what to do and that's very off putting, the whole town feels like an authoritarian nightmare. Everywhere you go you are reminded you're on cctv by at least two signs and more cameras. Yet kids scream up and down the halls at the weekends and that's totally fine? The carpet and furnishings are all synthetic, so with the air con it becomes ionised and extremely static, so you get electric shocks constantly, especially from the bed. The balcony door wouldn't open as the ice beyond isn't cleared. Breakfast finishes too early mid week for a place where going out at night is a factor for tourists. If you want to catch the aurora and eat breakfast, expect only a few hours sleep. The attached pub is overpriced even for Luleå and the staff will stop talking to you mid sentence if someone else comes along. I would put up with these things if people were even half friendly and polite, but it's just not the kind of place that welcomes guests. I was overall really disappointed by every facet, other than the nice clean bath that filled quickly and with good quality water temperature and control (something rare in most hotels)

For electric car charging, there are only two bookable places, the price is SEK 190/day and current electricity cost.
Please note that there is a 175 cm ceiling height and a steep driveway!

At Elite Stadshotellet we want to promote health and therefore we offers all who likes to run and exercise default routes in the app Runkeeper. We have produced our favorite rounds as you can easily follow, three routes of varying length from 3 to 10 kilometers.
