The basic rule is that you earn one point per Swedish crown spent within the Elite Hotels Guest Program. You retain your points earned during the year in which they were earned and for a further three years. Log-in to My Pages to see when your points expire.

It is important that you state your Elite Hotels Guest Program membership number at the time of booking, and at hotel check-in and check-out. This is to ensure that your points are registered to your account.

Points for conferences

As a member you earn 750 points per night for conferences. Should you choose to take advantage of some of our services for your own personal use and add it to your hotel bill, then you naturally earn additional points according to the standard principle of SEK 1 earns 1 point.

Points for others guests

If you are responsible for the hotel bill in connection with a stay at the hotel and dining in the hotel restaurant, you can earn points for up to 5 people with a maximum of 5000 SEK. Your membership card must be shown at the time of ordering, and only one membership card per group can be used.

Points for overnight stays, food and drinks

You earn points for your overnight stays, and for your food and drink at Elite Hotels, in both our hotel restaurants and at The Bishops Arms. You also earn points for the different services offered by the hotel, such as pay TV, telephone, laundry, garage etc. This is on the condition that you use the services in connection with your overnight stay and that payment is made on your personal hotel bill.

You also earn points and nights for your overnight stay at Hotel Bishops Arms.


Exceptions to earning points

Bookings made via so-called third party channels are not entitled to earn points. We award points when you book our flex rate, package rate or contract rate via Elite Hotels’ own channels such as, Central reservations on +46 771 788 789, or directly through your travel agent. Note that third-party reservations will not give you access to member benefits at the hotel.

Reward nights are not eligible for points.

We reserve the right to exclude the possibility of earning points and taking advantage of member benefits in connection with certain special offers, and for certain agreements with companies, partners and organisations.


Elite Hotels Guest Program has four membership levels. The level is determined by the number of qualifying overnight stays that have been accumulated during one calendar year. The term qualifying overnight stays refers to bookings made via Elite Hotels’ booking channels or via a traditional travel agent. If the booking is made via a third party, a so-called online travel agency, or is a reward night, then it is not counted as a qualifying overnight stay.

If you are upgraded to the next membership level you retain your new level for the rest of that year plus the subsequent year, provided that you have not been upgraded to an even higher level during this period.

As a member you have access to many different benefits when you stay at our hotels. These benefits are designed to make your travel even more enjoyable. The higher your level, the more benefits you can enjoy.

You always gain access to your new benefits as soon as you have qualified for a higher member level in the Guest Program.

Always continuous upgrades

Upgrades are made once a week and based on the number of qualified nights from the 1st of January of the current year. You gain immediate access to your new benefits as soon as you reach a higher member level in the Guest Program. If you reach a new membership level in the middle of a stay, you are welcome to contact us and we will make sure you are upgraded right away.


Downgrades are made once a year. It takes place at the end of the year and is based on your number of overnight stays during the current calendar year, January 1st through December 31st. If you have been upgraded, you always retain your member level during the current year and the subsequent year. The validation period of your level is shown on your membership card from level Silver.

Restaurant vouchers

Restaurant vouchers are one of the most popular benefits in our Guest Program. You receive one restaurant voucher per night that you stay at the hotel and the vouchers can be used during the current stay at the hotel restaurant or at The Bishops arms adjacent to the hotel.

The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation

The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation aspires to defeat childhood cancer. Today, approximately 80 percent of children now survive their cancer diagnoses owing to over 30 years of hard work. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation is the single largest source of funding for research into childhood cancer in Sweden – and accomplishes this with no grants from government, municipalities or county councils. Membership levels

When will my membership be upgraded to the next level?
You will be upgraded to Silver level after only 10 overnight stays in one calendar year, and once you have stayed 25 nights within the same calendar year your Black card will be sent to you. Upgrades are made once a week and are based on the number of qualified nights from the 1st of January of the current year. If you reach a new level in the middle of a stay, you are welcome to contact Member Services and we will make sure you are upgraded right away.

How long will I keep my new member level?
You will keep your new member level throughout the year that you were upgraded and the subsequent year.


We are two persons staying in the same room – can we split the points?
No, it is not possible to split the points between two members. The person whose membership is registered in the reservation will receive the points.

How long does it take before my points are registered after my stay?
Your points are visible on your member account the day after you have checked out. If you check out on a Friday or on a weekend/holiday, the points are visible on your account the first following weekday.

How long are my points valid?
Your points are valid during the year that you earn them and an additional 3 years. The points always expire on December 31st. When you use your reward points, the oldest points are always used first. As a logged in member at you will find exact information about the validity of your points.

Reward nights

How can I book a reward night?
Book your reward nights directly on the Reward night page or by ticking the check box "Find reward nights" in the reservation search panel. You can also book through our Central Reservations office at 0771-788 789 or

Can I give a reward night to someone else?
Yes, absolutely! You can choose to exchange your points towards, for example, a reward night voucher or a gift card for an overnight stay. You can give these as a gift to whoever you wish.

I have booked a reward night but need to cancel, will I get my points back?
Yes, if you cancel your reservation in accordance with the cancellation policy the points will be credited back to your account automatically. Special cancellation rules apply if the points you used for the reward nights have expired by the time of cancellation.

1. Membership

1.1 The parties to the Elite Hotels Guest Program are the member and Elite Hotels of Sweden AB, hereafter called Elite Hotels.

1.2 Membership of the Elite Hotels Guest Program is personal, and is only eligible to persons of 18 years of age or older. Companies and other legal entities are not eligible for membership.

1.3 If the member wishes to terminate his/her membership, any earned points must be used by the date of termination at the latest.

1.4 In the case of improper use of membership, Elite Hotels 
reserves the right to terminate membership with immediate effect. In the event of this type of termination, any earned points and unused vouchers will cease to be valid. Improper use of the Elite Hotels Guest Program may be reported to the police. In the event of improper use, the membership card will be revoked and will only be returned to the cardholder after an acceptable explanation has been provided.

1.5 Elite Hotels reserves the right to make changes without prior notice, to the content (e.g. membership rules, member benefits, rules for points, etc.) of the Elite Hotels Guest Program during the membership period.

1.6 If zero (0) points are earned during a 12-month period, Elite Hotels reserves the right to stop sending regular information to the member.

1.7 If zero (0) points are registered over a continuous 3-year period, Elite Hotels reserves the right to terminate membership and cancel any unused points without prior notice.

1.8 New members receive a white card. Upgrades to a higher card level are made once the predetermined criteria have been met during one calendar year. To upgrade to Silver level, or to maintain Silver level, 10 qualifying overnight stays with Elite Hotels during one calendar year are required. To upgrade to Black level, or to maintain Black level, 25 qualifying overnight stays with Elite Hotels during one calendar year are required. To upgrade to Elite level, or to maintain Elite level, 55 qualifying overnight stays with Elite Hotels during one calendar year are required. The membership card is valid during the year of qualification and the following calendar year.

1.9 Member benefits associated with membership at the White, Silver, Black or Elite levels are only valid at Elite Hotels. Member benefits are stated in the prevailing information about member levels on the Elite Hotels homepage. However, on occasions, the member level can also give access to benefits with partners associated with the Guest Program.

2. Membership card

2.1 The membership card for the Elite Hotels Guest Program is personal, and can only be used by the person whose name is registered on the card. The cardholder must be able to provide proof of identity upon request.

2.2 The membership card is only valid if the cardholder has signed the back and accepted the terms and conditions of membership. The card is valid up to and including the date stated on the card.

2.3 Lost, stolen or destroyed cards must be immediately reported to Elite Hotels. A replacement card will then be issued and sent to the member by post. Until the new card is received, the member can continue to earn points by providing his/her Elite card number at the time of booking and at check-in when staying at Elite Hotels.

3. Business travel

3.1 Members who earn points in the Elite Hotels Guest Program in connection with trips paid for by the employer, may be obliged to notify their employer in advance. The employer’s policy for such issues applies.

3.2 Benefits earned from services/products paid for by the employer can be subject to taxation. It is the responsibility of the member to be informed and up to date about such details.

3.3 Elite Hotels is not responsible for any subsequent taxes and/or fees arising as a result of earning points and member benefits.

4. Data storage

4.1 Personal information provided by members in their membership application, in the future or otherwise provided to Elite Hotels within the framework of membership in the Elite Hotels Guest Program will be used by Elite Hotels or its legal successor for the purpose of administering membership. Personal information may also be used to coordinate offers and other activities with Elite Hotels or its partners. The information may also be made available to partners of Elite Hotels. The information may also be used for marketing purposes outside the framework of membership.

4.2 Members have the right, upon written request to Elite Hotels, to receive information regarding which personal information about the member is being used by Elite Hotels. Members also have the right to request that the information is corrected or deleted. This is to take place in writing to Elite Hotels Member Services.

4.3 Through membership application or use of a membership card, the member consents to the above-mentioned use of personal information and agrees to accept receipt of information and marketing material in accordance with the above by post, e-mail or SMS, provided that the member has provided his/her address, e-mail address or mobile telephone number to Elite Hotels at the time of application or at a later date.

4.4 Account information in regards to membership is only disclosed to the member, or to the bearer of a written power of attorney signed by the member.

4.5 For security reasons, Elite Hotels should be notified of any change of name or address. This is to be provided in writing or by telephone to Member Services, or registered by the member on the Elite Hotels website.

5. Collecting points

5.1 Members of the Elite Hotels Guest Program earn points regardless of how the hotel bill/invoice is paid (cash, card or invoice), provided that the overnight stay qualifies to earn points, the membership number is provided at the time of booking, and the membership card is presented when checking in and out of the hotel. Points are awarded when the member has stayed in person. Points are not awarded in the event of no show situations.

5.2 Overnight stays at Flex rate and business discount rates, food and beverage in participating restaurants, and the purchase of other services produced by Elite Hotels qualify for points, provided that consumption takes place in association with an overnight stay at Elite Hotels and that the purchase is debited on the hotel bill/invoice. Points are however not awarded for any bookings made through a third party e.g. internet travel agency, bus company organising theatre trips and suchlike.

5.3 Points for restaurant visits are awarded for groups of up to a maximum of 5 persons and not exceeding SEK 5,000. The membership card must be presented when ordering at the restaurant. Only one membership card can be used per company. Points for restaurant visits are only awarded in conjunction with an overnight stay at the hotel.

5.4 In association with conference stays (full-board conference incl. overnight stay) with single payment, the individual member earns a fixed number of points per night according to the prevailing earnings table on the Elite Hotels website. Additional consumption paid for by the member qualifies for points according to the standard earning rules. The rental of conference venue or conference facilities alone do not qualify for points.

5.5 The only occasion when a member can earn points for rooms other than the room in which he/she is staying, is when the member’s family is staying in more than one room on a single occasion. By family, we mean parents and children up to 18 years.

5.6 The purchase of goods and services supplied by an external party or for which Elite Hotels are only acting as intermediary, do not qualify for points. Examples include event tickets, flowers etc.

5.7 Points can also be earned from partners associated with the Elite Hotels Guest Program, according to the prevailing earning table presented on the Elite Hotels website.

5.8 Points are personal and cannot be transferred to another member account. Points have no actual financial value and cannot be converted to cash.

5.9 Points are valid for at least three (3) years from the date they were earned. After this date, unused points will automatically expire and therefore become void. When redeeming points, the oldest points are always used first.

5.10 Elite Hotels reserves the right to exclude the eligibility to earn points and use member benefits in association with all special offers, special prices in third party channels, and certain agreements with companies, partners and organisations.

5.11 Points which for various reasons are not registered in the normal manner, may be retroactively registered within six (6) months after the completed hotel stay. However, the one condition is that the guest was a member of the Guest Program at the time of earning the points. Retroactive registration of points is carried out via Elite Hotels Member Services. Valid documentation, such as a hotel bill, must be provided as evidence to enable retroactive registration.

5.12 Points are not earned for reward nights regardless of whether the reward night is partly paid for in cash. Payment with vouchers, such as restaurant vouchers, does not qualify for points either. Elite Hotels reserves the right to exclude eligibility to use member benefits when taking out reward nights.

5.13 Members participating in the loyalty Programs of partners to Elite Hotels, only earn points in both Programs if this possibility is clearly stated. The majority of cooperations specify that the member must choose the Program for which they prefer their points to be earned.

6. Using points and other member benefits

6.1 Points can be redeemed for reward nights or other offers from Elite Hotels or our partners, according to the redemption prevailing chart presented on the Elite Hotels website. Reward nights can be booked after logging in at or via reservations. Other redemption of points, such as magazine subscriptions, are booked via Elite Hotels Member Services.

6.2 The availability of reward nights at Elite Hotels is dependent on vacant capacity at the time of booking. Vacant rooms may be available at the Flex rate, even if the number of rooms allocated for reward nights is fully booked. There may also be occasions when no hotel rooms are available for reward nights.

6.3 The issued voucher is a valuable document which can be used as part or full payment. Conversion to cash is not possible. The voucher must be handed over at the time of use by the member. The period of validity of the voucher is specified on the voucher. Lost vouchers are not replaced.

6.4 It is not permissible for two or more members to combine their points in order to meet the criteria for point redemption, unless this is specifically stated in the offer. Points registered to a member profile are not transferable to another member profile.

6.5 Cancellation of reward nights and other point redemptions must be carried out within the time limit specified. Special rules apply regarding whether points can be returned to the member account, and if so how many points.

6.6 Member benefits and qualification requirements for the various member levels are stated within the prevailing information about member levels on the Elite Hotels website.

7. Disputes

7.1 Any disputes regarding all or part of the contents of these terms and conditions will be resolved according to Swedish law and will be settled in a Swedish court of law. Elite Hotels is not responsible for events arising due to legal enactments, government decisions, emergency events, strikes, blockades, boycotts, lockouts or other similar circumstances.
