Our history & inspiration

Located on the quay next to Snäckviken in Södertälje in AstraZeneca's former headquarters, Ad Astra by Elite is a playful nod to the place's former host, and at the same time a tribute to the Riviera's luxury, lifestyle and food culture. The name is Latin and means towards the stars, which also symbolizes Elite Hotels of Sweden's ambition with both the hotel as such, and the unique experience we together with the renowned interior design firm Skuggan now create for an international audience.
