Trevlig personal, god frukost Lite bättre om man vill ta en öl eller glas vin, Bishop e bra men de finns för få platser och tar för lång tid.
Bra läge på hotellet, familjerummet vi bodde i va rymligt och bra. Vi hade gott om plats för hela familjen. Extra guldkant va ett fint kort och lite godis å dryck som stod på rummet. Fint engagemang hos personalen som klippt ut legofigurer å limmat på kortet.
Several things, the kindness of a handwritten note left in my room with some small token, nothing was missing in my room with a beautiful view of the lake. I also need to say it felt so nice to arrive on a lobby full of people knitting and I found out once a month the hotel welcome sticktogether club with a lot of locals. Perfect idea, a hotel for travelers and locals (@sticktogether).
Bra läge, rena fina rum, trevligt bemötande Frukosten. Har bott hos Er i flera år. Nu var frukosten en enda röra. Trevligt med förändringar men detta var verkligen till det sämre. Fungerade inte alls. Förra gången Ni gjorde om blev det ju jättebra.

Clean and nice people Nothing
Vid mitt första besök fick jag ett smutsigt rum och som kompensation för det fick jag en uppgradering vid nästa besök. Vid besök nummer 2 så äter vi äggröran på frukosten men den innehåller något grönt som liknar mögel. När detta påtalas till värden på frukosten så nekas det att det skulle kunna vara mögel men det ser väldigt konstigt ut och dom tar fort min tallrik ut i köket lika så resten av äggröran i kantinen. Jag får aldrig en förklaring där av någon. Nästa dag Vid utcheckningen frågar jag receptionen om det då berättar dom att det kan ha hänt förut att rester från diskmedelstabletten fastnar i kantinen och sen lossnat när dom lägger äggröra i dom. Känns väldigt konstigt att man inte får en personlig ursäkt på man kan/har fått i sig rester från en diskmaskinstablett. Rummet var dock väldigt fint som vi fick. Detta är sista gången jag bokar hos dom igen. 1 gång är ingen gång 2 är en för mycket.

History of the hotel
What was at that time known as Jönköpings Hotell was built in 1850. This was an enormously bold venture in a city with only 7000 residents. The hotel is one of the country’s oldest and most famous hotels outside the capital. When it opened in January 1860, it was the largest hotel in the country. The rationale behind the huge construction was Jönköping’s strategic location as a rail and road junction, which made it a natural stopover station on the finalized South Main Line.
Right from the outset, the hotel boasted a number of special features. On the ground floor, there was a restaurant, a café, a billiards room, an inn, bank offices and, after a few years, a bathhouse. The middle floor consisted primarily of hotel rooms and the upper floor housed banquet halls, clubrooms and a few other rooms. The Freemasons, then as now, held quarterly on the attic floor, which includes the great assembly hall, Johannessalen.
In 1863, the banquet and assembly rooms were finished two floors up. Since this time, the hotel has boasted the finest banquet facilities in Jönköping County. The hall was magnificent, with glittering gas-burning chandeliers, mirrored walls that gave the illusion of another room beyond, and décor that makes visitors feel as if they had been transported to a fairytale castle. Ever since this room has hosted countless magnificent and memorable balls and banquets.
