A Festive Christmas Buffet, Crafted by Tareq Taylor & Carina Brydling

Enjoy a flavoursome and generous Christmas buffet in an atmospheric setting, where our restaurant and banquet hall are thoughtfully decorated to create a truly festive ambience.

Classic Christmas favourites are served with modern touches; traditional herring dishes are reimagined with new flavours, and local produce takes centre stage. Alongside herring and salmon, the buffet includes hot dishes such as sausages, meatballs, and Janssons temptation, complemented by creative additions like omelettes, spare ribs, and more. This year’s Christmas buffet, crafted by Tareq Taylor and Carina Brydling, brings together respect for tradition with innovative flair. To round off the experience, a sumptuous dessert table awaits, offering tempting sweets and festive treats – as generous as the rest of the buffet.

Elite Grand Hotel enjoys a prime location overlooking the Motala River. During December, light installations add to the atmosphere – but it is the carefully decorated surroundings that truly create a memorable Christmas spirit.

Serving Period
The Christmas buffet is served from 28 November to 20 December, with both lunch and evening sittings – perfect for an office Christmas party, a gathering with friends, or a cosy evening with the family. All guests are warmly welcomed with mulled wine and gingerbread biscuits – a traditional way to begin a flavourful and festive evening.

CHRISTMAS BUFFET – EVENING

The evening buffet is served Tuesday to Saturday between 28 November and 20 December. The evening begins with mulled wine mingling from 6:00 p.m. in our lobby.

Atmospheric live music

On selected evenings, the Christmas buffet experience will be enhanced in one of our venues with beautiful singing and piano music, courtesy of the duo Elsa Göransson and Olle Wikström.

Lunch buffet is served Tuesday to Friday.

A drinks package is available for purchase, including an alcohol-free option. All prices include VAT but exclude cloakroom charge.
