The staff overall were excellent. Great breakfast, clean and fresh hotel room. Tremendous service in the bar/ Resteraunt as well. Professional and polite receptionists , my utmost gratitude to the patience and human touch from one of the staff called Lisa who was so helpful during our stay . Trevligt hotell, det centrala läget vid stationen.Nära till centrum. Lungt och tyst. Sköna sängar och svalt rum . En härlig frukost i min smak , äppelpajen var toppen som avslutning på allt det goda.

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Most importantly, there was a great variety of options for people with dietary restrictions and allergies! No doubts a 10 out of 10! Everything was extremely nice! I would have appreciated maybe more amenities in the room, such as slippers and toiletries.

Personalen vid incheck så trevliga och personliga. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett de lux rum eftersom jag är Guld medlem och fick checka in vid 12 tiden. Väldigt uppskattat när vi suttit på tåg flera timmar att få sitt rum direkt. Jättefint rum med sköna sängar, underbar utsikt, rent och snyggt. Frukosten som nog är den bästa jag ätit. Mycket att välja på och bra kvalitet på råvarorna. Uppskattade att personalen i restaurangen tog sig tid och gick runt och serverade påtår av kaffet. Vi ses snart igen!
Läget är helt perfekt. Nära stationen nar man kommer med tåg - och nära centrum. Stämningen var vänlig och varm. Våra barnbarn blev sedda och fick extra omsorger. Det fanns ett lekrum som var helt okej - men namnet Elsa Beskow kändes taget ur luften. Det fanns ingenting som påminde om henne och hennes böcker där. :-) En plansch på väggen och några böcker hade räckt...
Utsikten är väldigt fin och flexibiliteten hos Elite är superbra. Frukosten var välsorterad och fräsch. Rummen håller bra standard med sköna sängar. Närhet till kollektivtrafik som gör placeringen superb. Parkeringsgaraget är väl värt att betala för om man reser med bil.
Personalen i receptionen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Sköna sängar, tyst och lugn miljö i rummet och på hotellet. Uppskattade AC: n i rummet extra mycket dessa varma dagar. Vistelsen levde upp till förväntningarna. Vi är mycket nöjda och har inget mer att önska.

Njöt av god hotellfrukost. Bra läge vid centralstationen. Dock behövs det ordnas med vattnet i duschen, skiftar från varmt till kallt i rum 310.

I was in Uppsala briefly for my thesis defence. Even under the stress I was under, I felt very calm in this hotel. The hotel offers a lot of convenience. It is in the center of Uppsala and near important public transportation and the train station. The service and support from the staff from the reception to cleaning/ management were really heart felt.

History of the hotel
Chocolate and Silk – Elite Hotels is elaborating on the quarter's tradition, quality, and flair.
Enterprise has long been the heart and soul of the quarter in which Elite Hotel Academia is situated. One notable example is that this was the original home of the venerable Fyris Chocolate Factory, which was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. The factory made toffees, caramel sweets and a vast assortment of chocolate pralines in delectable shapes and forms. In 1936 the premises were taken over by the Uppsala Sidenväverier silk mill, which produced exclusive and fashionable dress fabric collections of the highest quality. The Post Office was established in the '60s in premises which were ultramodern for the time.
