Enjoy a comfortable stay with your pets at our hotel. We offer a limited amount of rooms for those who want to bring their furry friend along. Stay together with your pet in your room for an additional cost of 300 SEK/stay. Take the time to experience the beautiful nature and enjoy long walks around the hotel area during your stay. Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge, please contact the hotel directly.

Check-in is guaranteed from 15.00 on the day of arrival and check-out takes place no later than 11.00 on the day of departure.
If you arrive early, we can store your luggage in our luggage room until your room is ready. We can also store your luggage after you have checked out.

A good night’s sleep is essential for your wellbeing and an important part of your stay with us. We offer you a range of pillows in order for you to find the perfect one.
Behind the hotel is a public parking garage, Sesam. Parking costs 140 SEK per day. Payment is made directly at the parking garage and cannot be pre-booked. The parking garage is open daily from 06:00 to 24:00. Outside these hours, you can enter using a code provided at the reception.
In the Sesam parking garage, there are two charging stations on the ground floor, with a maximum charging time of 3 hours. Additional charging stations with longer charging times are available at the municipal parking garage Per Brahe, located approximately 700 meters from the hotel. These cannot be pre-booked.
Adjacent to the hotel, there is a public handicapped parking space as well as two charging stations, with a maximum charging time of 2 hours. These cannot be pre-booked.
Order breakfast delivered right to your room. Fill in your room service card with your requests and enjoy a perfect breakfast just for you in the privacy and comfort of your room. We also offer a Grab & Run breakfast option for those in a hurry.

History of the hotel
I slutet av 1850 byggdes dåvarande Jönköpings Hotell. Det var en oerhört stor satsning i en stad med enbart 7000 invånare. Hotellet är ett av landets äldsta och mest kända hotell utanför huvudstaden. Vid öppningen i januari 1860 var hotellet landets största.
Anledningen till det enorma bygget var Jönköpings strategiska läge som järnvägs- och vägknut och blev nu en självklar övernattningsstation på den färdigställda Södra Stambanan. Hotellet inrymde redan från början en rad funktioner. I bottenplanet fanns restaurang, schweizeri, biljardrum, gästgiveri, banklokaler och efter några år tillkom en badanläggning. Mellanvåningen upptogs främst av resanderum och den översta våningen av festlokaler, klubbrum och ytterligare några rum. Frimurarna hade tom. 2013 sina lokaler på vindsvåningen med bland annat den stora ordenssalen Johannessalen.
1863 stod festvåningen klar två trappor upp. Den har sedan dess varit Jönköpings läns förnämsta festlokal. Salen blev magnifik med gnistrande kristallkronor med flammande gaslågor, spegelväggar som gav illusion om bakomliggande rum och dekorationer som förflyttade besökaren till en slottslik miljö. Här har alltsedan dess hållits minnesvärda baler och fester. I modern tid har Spegelsalen även använts till bland annat EU-möten, utställningar och kongresser.
