About our breakfast
We serve a generous breakfast buffet every morning for hotel guests, conference participants and visitors at our restaurant Mandel. Almost nothing that does not grow or is produced in the vicinity of Västerbotten is served here. Welcome to enjoy a delicious breakfast on the fourth floor. Here we serve a delicious breakfast buffet every morning with a focus on local ingredients and sustainability.
Our bread and cakes are baked every morning and the cold cuts come from local farmers. Our juices are from fruits and berries from the forests in the area. We work actively with pickling of roots and vegetables both for the sake of health, but also to keep down the big waste, which is when serving cut fruit and vegetables. That is also why we have a slightly smaller size on the breakfast plate. You are welcome to go and get food more times than to take too much and leave, which is easily done with a large plate. We have a northern mountain filet and yoghurt that you can top with powder of super berries, which also comes from the area, or one of our homemade granola and müsli. If you want porridge, the chefs will prepare it for you after you order from them at the door. If you want your breakfast pan with eggs, bacon and vegetables to contain something else, more or less, then ask for it and we will be happy to solve it. Everything you see on the breakfast buffet is cooked in a climate-smart and healthy way. Enjoy a fantastic start to the day with a view of the city and our lovely ALTAN which we open in the summer at your disposal. Breakfast is included for all hotel guests. We also welcome external guests subject to availability.
