Vistelsen på Elite Hotel Frost i Kiruna (28–29 juli) bjöd på både positiva och mindre positiva upplevelser. Receptionisten gav ett trevligt och professionellt bemötande. Vana Spa var lyxigt, fint och en uppskattad del av vistelsen. Däremot var samarbetet med Kiruna Taxi under all kritik. Hotellet bokade en taxi i mitt namn kvällen innan för avresa till Kiruna flygplats kl. 08.00, men den dök aldrig upp. Det uppstod sedan en onödigt besvärlig diskussion om vilket namn bokningen stod i, trots att det var helt folktomt på upphämtningsplatsen. Jag tycker att hotellet och taxibolaget bör införa ett bokningsnummer eller någon annan tydlig referens, så att både kunden och chauffören enkelt kan verifiera rätt bokning. Taxipriset var dessutom anmärkningsvärt högt – 350 kronor (fast pris) för en resa på 4,54 kilometer. Som jämförelse skulle samma kilometerpris innebära att en taxiresa mellan Arlanda och Stockholm kostade omkring 2 700 kronor. Både Elite Hotel Frost och Kiruna Taxi är beroende av oss besökare. Därför borde det ligga i allas intresse att ge gästerna en smidig och positiv upplevelse, oavsett om resan sker privat eller i tjänsten. Ett gott helhetsintryck gör att man gärna återvänder och rekommenderar destinationen till andra. Rummet var fint och fräscht, men jag saknade avställningsytor. Hade jag rest i tjänsten hade jag också saknat ett skrivbord eller en ordentlig arbetsyta.
En harmonierande interiör som var fantastisk. Allt var jättebra.

Alle fasiliteter, resepsjonsområdet, restaurant, tilliggende bar og toppbaren er lunt og lekkert interiørmessig. Hyggelig betjening, god mat og drikke bidrar. Rommene er fine, sengene gode og lysskjermingen tilfredsstillende. Elite Frost er alltid vår førstevalg i Kiruna.

Nytt och fint. Bra utrustning på rummen och bra konferenslokal. Gick inte att använda smart-tv som dataskärm och fanns ingen skärm att låna. Fick betala extra för att behålla rummet en timme extra. Vi var 17 personer så lite mer goodwill kunde det varit. Kameran i konferensrummet funkade inte med Skype

Er personal, miljön, ni har ett jättemysigt och fint hotell i Kiruna. efterlängtat. Restaurant Fee ? Var inte öppen då jag och mitt sällskap skulle äta, Bishop var fullt ( Quiz ). Så vi var tvungna att gå över till er konkurrent tvärs över.

The check in, service and tje rooftop. The temperature in the rooms is to high and you cant open the window. No fan for rent in the reception either. But a great hotel! Temperatur in the rooms :-)

Vi hade bokat spapaket i vårt run med info om att barn inte är välkomna på spa framgick EJ, ej heller barntider framgick i samband med bokningen. Vi hade räknat med mysigt spahäng men barn är inte välkomna annat än på förmiddagen då vi redan checkat ut vilket gjorde att vi lika gärna hade kunnat boka ett annat boende. Efterfrågade kompensation för att vi inte kunnat nyttja den facilitet som gjorde att vi valde elite men den ersättning som återbetalades för att vi inte kunnat nyttja spaet blev lägre än den extra kostnad vi betalt för spapaketet. Pinsamt.
