In 2026, the renovation will continue with parts of the facade facing Hamngatan. The aim is to restore the hotel's historic character and preserve the beautiful building for the future. Savoy has stood strong for over 100 years and now we are ensuring 100 more beautiful years.

About Elite Hotel Savoy in Malmö
Elite Hotel Savoy, opposite Malmö C, is one of the oldest and most special hotels in Sweden. Once a tavern, dating back to the 14th century, it’s hard to imagine the number of people that have been accommodated in this spot and enjoyed food, beverage, and special occasions.
Elite Hotel Savoy is a unique hotel and an excellent choice for business travellers and people who want to enjoy a weekend in Malmö in a special hotel. The K-marked building is renovated with great care. You’ll note the special atmosphere once you step into the welcoming lobby and take the stairs or the elevator to your room.
Elite Hotel Savoy offers 117 hotel rooms, a banquet hall and four conference rooms with a capacity for up to 120 people. Adjacent to the conference rooms is a nice gathering area for mingling and events.

Check-in is guaranteed from 15.00 on the day of arrival and check-out takes place no later than 11.00 on the day of departure.
If you arrive early, we can store your luggage in our luggage room until your room is ready. We can also store your luggage after you have checked out.
Enjoy a comfortable stay with your pets at our hotel. We offer a limited amount of rooms for those who want to bring their furry friend along. Stay together with your pet in your room for an additional cost of 300 SEK/night. Take the time to experience the beautiful nature and enjoy long walks around the hotel area during your stay. Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge, please contact the hotel directly.

A good night’s sleep is essential for your wellbeing and an important part of your stay with us. We offer you a range of pillows in order for you to find the perfect one.
We collaborate with “P-Malmo” that has a parking garage about 200 meters from the hotel. Buy the ticket at the front desk before you park and feel welcome to leave the luggage with us while you’re parking. There is no need to pre-book as there are always spaces available in the garage. There are four spaces on the third floor that offer charging stations for an electric vehicle. We can however never guarantee that those spaces are free.
Price: 290 SEK/day
Laundry service is available 5 days a week during weekdays. Guest laundry left at the front desk before 9 a.m. will be ready for collection approximately 5 p.m. the same day.
Do you have a teenager in the family? You can now book a separate room for your teenager at a favorable rate. Please contact us, and we will assist you with the booking.
Please note that the booking is only available on weekends and school holidays, subject to availability, and must be in conjunction with booking the parents' room at the regular price.

History of the hotel
The hotel, built in 1862 is one of our country’s oldest and most prestigious hotels. In the year 1902, the hotel was named after the elegant Hotel Savoy in London.
Since 1983, Elite Hotel Savoy is owned by Elite Hotels of Sweden.
