Elite Stadshotellet is located in the central of Växjö next to the main square. It is a classic and beautiful hotel that breathes of history mixed with contemporary comfort. The hotel has 163 rooms and 250 beds. Our ambition is to ensure the utmost comfort and satisfaction of our guests.
The hotel is situated in the center of town, only 100 meters from the railway station. Whether you arrive by car, rail or air, it is easy to get to the hotel. Car parking is available in the nearby square. Welcome!

Parking lots are available close to the hotel and you can by your parking tickets in the hotel reception. Tickets are required weekdays 09:00am–06:00pm and on Saturdays 09:00am–12:00 noon. Other times free parking.
Please note that parking is not allowed on the north side of the parking area on Wednesdays and Saturdays, due to Farmer’s markets. To avoid towing off and parking fines, make sure to always park your car in the southern area or the parking area (closest to the hotel).
Additional parking spaces at a lower cost is available one block away from the hotel.
We offer a laundry service. Laundry dropped off before 09:00am will be returned the same day. Laundry dropped off after 09:00am will be returned the following day. This service is available Monday–Friday. For more information, please contact the hotel reception.
If you want to take a bike ride you can borrow a bike from the hotel. Please contact the Front Desk for further information.
At Elite Stadshotellet we want to promote health and therefore we offers all who likes to run and exercise default routes in the app Runkeeper. We have produced our favorite round as you can easily follow, 5 kilometers around Växjösjön.

Positive: Position was great. Bicycles was alsou very nice suprice.
To improve: Room was too hot. Even the weather was very warm ( day temp 28C) there shud be aircondition or something to cool down the room. Sleeping is dificult when hot.

To improve: Allt bra utom badrumsrenoveringen i våning under el över (hade rum 334). Varmvattnet var väldigt långt borta o måste kosta hotellet en hel del.

Positive: The service from the front desk was impeccable, we got a free upgrade to a bigger hotelroom when we found out that the hotel was dog-friendly and we are allergic. The guards at the nightclub Grace treated is like royal VIPs, and the breakfast was outstanding.

To improve: I would honestly have no idea! The only thing was that I woke from noisy people outside that had been at the club (I presume). Not much to do about that I guess.

Elite Stadshotellet i Växjö is located in Växjo center, just 100 meters from the railway station. A large car park is available on the square next to the hotel. Park close to the hotel. We sell parking tickets at the reception.
When you come from the north, west and south (Jönköping, Ljungby or Malmö):
At the junction Mörners Väg, drive towards the center, drive straight a head until you have passed Västerleden roundabout. Take the next right, then slightly to the left and follow this road until you see the train station. Turn to the left, the hotel is 50 meters up on Kungsgatan.
When you come from the east (Kalmar):
Drive on Fagrabäcksvägen to the traffic light junction, turn left to Linnégatan and then take the 3rd cross street right to Storgatan. This will take you directly to Stortorget, which we use as parking. The hotel is on the left side of Stortorget.
When you come from the northeast (Oskarshamn and Vimmerby):
Drive on Sandbrovägen which turns in to Linnégatan. Turn right up on Storgatan which will take you directly to the Stortorget which we use as parking. The hotel is on the left side of Stortorget.
