The city is right outside the entrance; shopping streets, the park Humlegården, busy Stureplan, trendy Biblioteksgatan and Kungsträdgården that is the oldest public park in Stockholm. The nearest subway station is Östermalmstorg, number 2 city bus stops outside to the hotel, and the tram to Djurgården is only a few minutes stroll away.

The breakfast You could have a waterboiler in every room.
Close to city. Not possible to change temperature in the room. Since no AC it can be hot in summer. Not working reading lamp at the bed. Not possible to make your own tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast room should be object for renovation. Dull, glomy and some carpets in tatters.

Everything! We got the best service from all the staff, delicious breakfast, perfect location etc. Skip the bathtubs and install proper showers in all the rooms. Deathtrap for elderly people. Who takes a bath in a hotel room?

We offer a gym and relaxation area at our sister hotel Elite Eden Park Hotel. The hotel is located within 300 meters walking distance. Ladies and gentlemen have separated dressing rooms with lockers and a sauna. Here is everything for both physical and mental recovery. The gym is free for all our guests. The gym is 75 m2 with weights & exercise machines , free weights, carpets and pilates ball. For more info and directions ask the front desk.
Enjoy a comfortable stay with your dog at our hotel. We offer a limited amount of rooms for those who want to bring their furry friend along. Stay together with your dog in your room for an additional cost of 200 SEK/night. Take the time to experience the beautiful Humlegården park.
Check-in is guaranteed from 15.00 on the day of arrival and check-out takes place no later than 11.00 on the day of departure.

History of the hotel
For more than a hundred years the façade has been an architectural eye-catcher in this pompous part of Stockholm. The building has also been a hotel for a hundred years. In the early 20th century a night at Hotel Clara Larson cost six kronor. This is where Selma Lagerlöf stayed when she, as the first woman, received the Nobel Prize in literature, in 1909.
Through the years the building has been carefully renovated from the outside and in. The marble staircase that connects the four floors is one of many decorative details that have been kept. Stuccos, mulled windows, ceiling heights, as well as one or two creaking floorboards, are now part of the modern hotel. Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza offers charming rooms with wifi, comfortable beds, stylish furniture and marble bathrooms with shower or bathtub.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport
Arlanda Express goes non-stop to Stockholm central station. Flygbussarna Airport Coaches offers several stops during the way to the city. Taxi from Arlanda takes about 30 minutes depending on the traffic. We also recommend that you confirm the price before the journey.
Stockholm Bromma Airport
Taxi and Flygbussarna Airport Coaches goes to Stockholm Cityterminalen. Local bus 110 goes to Alvik, continue by metro to Hötorget and exit Kungsgatan. Walk along Kungsgatan down to Stureplan, turn left at Birger Jarlsgatan and continue about 100 metres to the hotel.
Directions by car
From E4: take the exit towards Norrtull and follow signs to Värtahamnen. After 400 metres keep right at the roundabout (Roslagstull) and och turn right to Birger Jarlsgatan. Continue about two km to Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza, located on the right side.
