The location The hotel was very run down. The breakfast routine was not very customer friendly and the breakfast hostess was unhelpful to say the least.

Meget fin modtagelse, meget fint værelse, god morgenmad og ikke mindst at hotellet gjorde opmærksom på min frue’s fødselsdag med vin og chokolade det er meget flot og det betyder noget, vi kommer til at bo på Jeres hotellet igen. Vi oplevede ikke noget der ikke var godt.

Dejligt værelse, adgang til Netflix via fjernsynet, lækre osteboller og ok pandekager med flødeskum til morgenmad, virkelig sødt og smilende personale, god sikkerhed med bl.a. elevatoren krævede værelseskort for at fungere, pæn reception og restaurant. Morgenmaden måtte gerne smage af mere (bl.a. croissanter smagte ikke af noget). Vi missede vores tog hjem, fordi vi skulle vente alt for længe på at få vores bagage udleveret ved afgang om aftenen (receptionisten var sød og smilende men betjente en anden kunde i over 10 minutter). Der var meget slidt på værelset bl.a. maling skrabet af karme, risten udenpå badekaret hang løst, gardinet var plettet og hang løst for oven, beskidt under sengen, klædeskabslågerne hang skævt, pengeskabet fungerede ikke, 2 af vinduerne havde ikke sikkerhedslås på ( den var revet af og hang løst), meget var plettet bl.a. spejle og bad-låge.

It is always a pleasure to stay here, the hotel itself is lovely, the breakfast is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are big. I love this hotel. Only negative thing about our stay was a broken lightbulb at the entry to the room, by the closet, which made the room pretty dark, but we did not notify staff about it, as we didnt want to be a nuisance.

The hotel is right in the middle of Malmö city. The friendliness of all the staff, from reception over breakfast to housekeeping. They all give you a warm welcome. The standard room was much bigger than expected, with comfortable beds. A possibility to switch on/off the room lights from the bathroom lights would be great.

The location is superb, the staff is friendly and service minded, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Missed toiletries such as cotton swabs and cotton pads though. Loved the nice touch of giving my husband a complementary 1/2 bottle of Prosecco on his birthday.

Very good from booking to reception to the total stay. I am afraid I can’t find anything, except a small detail: the mainswitch beside the door inside our room was very strange, specially when waking up during night and could not put on the light beside our bed.🙏

Check-in takes place in the hotel's gastropub from 4 p.m. and as long as the pub is open each day. See The Bishops Arms opening hours. As a guest, you will not enter the hotel until check-in has taken place. If you plan to arrive at the hotel after the pub has closed, the hotel must be notified in advance.
Check-out takes place no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

As a guest at Elite Hotel Esplanade, you have access to our private parking garage, which is located in the building, for a fee of 275 SEK per day. The parking space must be pre-booked directly with the hotel since there are few spaces. Electric car spaces can be pre-booked subject to space for a fee of 375 SEK per day including electricity. The garage's entrance and exit are not connected directly to the hotel and are located on Isak Slaktaregatan.
Please note that the maximum height for a car is 1.8 meters. We do not recommend the hotel's garage for guests with larger cars as it is a smaller garage.
Room service is available during regular breakfast hours and Quans opening hours. If Quan is closed, we offer room service during our nearby restaurant TGI Fridays opening hours. We also accept orders at other times on request before arrival.
Quan's kitchen closes at 22.00.

Follow signs to Malmö Central station. Continue about 1 km along Norra Vallgatan, turn left to Gråbrödersgatan and after about 150 metres, turn left to Isak Slaktaregatan and you will see the hotel.
By bus or train
The hotel is located within a 5-minute walk to the central station. Cross the bridge, turn right at Norra Vallgatan, then left at Mäster Johansgatan and walk another 250 meters to the hotel.
