About Elite Hotel Arcadia

It is through Elite Hotel Arcadia the whole hotel chain Elite Hotels has its origin, you can say that it’s here everything started. The building that is from the fifties served at its beginning as student accomodation.

Our owner Bicky Chakraborty came at the late sixties from India to Sweden to study at the Stockholm University. Soon Bicky and some of his fellow students considerd it to be a shame to let the rooms stand empty during the summer months. With that they decided to rent out the rooms and a summer hotel saw its first light. Gradually this developed to an all year around hotel, Hotel Domus. During the major part of 2008 the hotel has gone through a extensive renovation, this to become a firstclass hotel an Elite Hotel.
