1.1 The parties to the Elite Hotels Guest Program are the member and Elite Hotels of Sweden AB, hereafter called Elite Hotels.
1.2 Membership in the Elite Hotels Guest Program is personal. To enrol you must be 18 years of age or older. Businesses and other legal entities are not eligible for membership.
1.3 If the member wishes to terminate membership, any collected points must be used by the date of termination.
1.4 If membership is abused in any way, Elite Hotels has the right to terminate membership with immediate effect. In the event of this type of termination, any collected points and unutilized vouchers will be cancelled. Abuse of the Elite Hotels Guest Program may be reported to the police. In the event of abuse, the membership card will be revoked and will be returned to the cardholder only after an acceptable explanation has been provided.
1.5 Elite Hotels reserves the right to make changes in the content (membership rules, membership privileges, rules for collection and use points, etc.) of the Elite Hotels Guest Program during the membership period without prior notice.
1.6 If no (0) points are registered during a 12-month period, Elite Hotels reserves the right to discontinue the provision of regular printed information to the member.
1.7 If no (0) points are registered during a continuous 3-year period, Elite Hotels reserves the right to terminate membership and cancel any unutilized points without prior notice.
1.8 New members receive the white card. Upgrades to a higher card level are made when the predetermined criteria have been met during the course of calendar year. To upgrade to or maintain silver level, the member must have 5 with overnight stays with Elite Hotels during a calendar year. To upgrade to or maintain black level, the member must have 15 qualifying overnight stays with Elite Hotels during a calendar year. The silver and black cards are valid during the year of qualification and the entire following calendar year. Downgrades to a lower membership level are made by March of the year thereafter.
1.9 Membership privileges tied to membership at the white, silver or black level are redeemable only by Elite Hotels. You will find the current privileges on our website.
2.1 The membership card for the Elite Hotels Guest Program is personal and non-transferable. The cardholder must provide proof of identity on request.
2.2 The membership card is valid only if the cardholder has written his/her signature on the back and has accepted the terms and conditions of membership. The card is valid up to and including the specified date.
2.3 If the card is lost, stolen or destroyed, this must be immediately reported to Elite Hotels. A replacement card will then be issued and sent to the member by mail. Until the new card is received, the member can continue to collect points by providing his/her membership number when staying at Elite Hotels.
3.1 Members, who collect points in the Elite Hotels Guest Program in connection with trips paid for by their employer, may be obligated to notify their employer in advance.
3.2 Privileges earned on services/products paid for by the employer can be subject to taxation. It is the responsibility of the member to stay informed about such details.
3.3 Elite Hotels is not responsible for any subsequent taxes/charges arising as a result of collection of points.
4.1 The personal information that is provided by members in their membership applications, in the future or is otherwise provided to Elite Hotels within the framework of membership in the Elite Hotels Guest Program will be used by Elite Hotels or its legal representative for the purpose of administrating membership and bonus points. Personal information may also be used to verify and execute orders and coordinate promotions/offers and other activities by Elite Hotels or participating partners. In connection with this, the information may be made available to Elite Hotels’ partners. The information may also be used for marketing outside the framework of membership.
4.2 Once a year the members have the right to demand, by written request, that Elite Hotels disclose which personal information is collected and used by Elite Hotels. Members also have the right to request that such information be corrected or deleted.
4.3 Through membership application or use of a membership card, the member consents to the above-mentioned use of personal information and agrees to accept information and marketing material according to the above by mail, e-mail or SMS, provided that the member has provided his/her address, e-mail address or mobile phone number to Elite Hotels at the time of application or some later date.
4.4 Account information is disclosed only to the member, or to the bearer of a written proxy signed by the member.
4.5 For security reasons, Elite Hotels should be promptly notified of any change of name or address. Such notification is provided in writing, e-mail or by phone to Elite Hotels Member Service or registered by the member on the Elite Hotels website.
5.1 Members of the Elite Hotels Guest Program earn points regardless of how the hotel bill will be payed (cash, payment card or by invoice), on the condition that the membership number is provided in connection with booking and the membership card is presented at check-in and check-out from the hotel.
5.2 Overnight stays at Flexrate and business discount rates, food and beverages purchased in participating restaurants and the purchase of other services produced by Elite Hotels qualify for points on the condition that consumption takes place in conjunction with an overnight stay at Elite Hotels and that the purchase is debited on the hotel bill/invoice. Points are not given for any externally created package deals (for example through a travel agency or bus company) or reservations made at Third Party Sites.
5.3 Restaurant visits in connection with accommodation qualify for collection of points for groups of up to 5 persons and not exceeding SEK 5 000. Only one membership card per group may be used, and must be presented when ordering at the restaurant.
5.4 In conjunction with conference accommodations (full room and board) with joint payment, the individual member earn a predetermined number of points per room and night according to the current details on Elite Hotels’ website. Extra goods/services paid for by the member qualify for points according to the normal rules. Renting of conference facilities or equipment does not qualify for collection of points.
5.5 The only time a member can earn points for rooms other than the room in which he/she is staying, is when the member’s family is staying in more than one and the same room on a single occasion. Family = parent(s) and children (up to 18 years).
5.6 The purchase of goods and services that are provided by an external party or are only supplied by Elite Hotels does not qualify for collection of points. Examples of this include event tickets, flowers etc.
5.7 Points can also be earned from partners participating in the Elite Hotels Guest Program according to the current details on Elite Hotels’ website.
5.8 Points are personal and non-transferable. Points have no financial value and cannot be converted to cash.
5.9 Points are valid for 3 years (36 months) from the date on which they are collected. After this date, unutilized points will be automatically cancelled and voided. Upon redemption, points are utilized in order of collection, i.e. the oldest are used first.
5.10 Elite Hotels reserves the right to exclude eligibility for collection of points and utilization of membership privileges in connection with certain special offers and agreements with companies and organizations.
5.11 Points which for any reasons are not registered in the normal manner may be retroactively registered within six (6) months from the date on which they are earned, provided that this date is within the membership period. Valid documentation, such as a hotel bill must be provided. Retroactive registration of points is carried out via Elite Hotels’ Member Service.
5.12 Points are not earned when redeeming free nights regardless of whether the free night is partly paid for in cash. Payment with vouchers, such as restaurant vouchers, do not qualify for points.
5.13 Members participating in the bonus programs of partners to Elite Hotels, such as Malmö Aviation Frequent Flyer Program or Thon Hotels Member, may earn points in only one of the programs during overnight stays at Elite Hotels.
6.1 Points can be redeemed for free nights or other offers from Elite Hotels or participating partners according to the current details presented on Elite Hotels’ website. Free nights and other redemption of points are booked via Elite Hotels’ Member Service.
6.2 Availability for redemption of free nights is dependent on vacant capacity on the booking date. Vacant rooms may be available at the Flexrate even if the number of rooms allocated for redemption of free nights is fully booked. There may also be times at which no hotel rooms are available for free night redemption.
6.3 The issued voucher can be used as partial or full payment for the intended redemption. Conversion to cash is not possible. The voucher must be handed over in connection with utilization by the member. The period of validity is specified on the voucher. Lost vouchers are not replaced.
6.4 It is not permissible for two or more members to combine their points in order to meet the criteria for redemption, unless this is specifically stated in the offer. Points registered to a member account are not transferable to another member account.
6.5 Cancellation of free nights and other redemptions must be carried out within the specified time limit. Special rules apply regarding eligibility for refunds, and the number of points that can be refunded, to the member account.
6.6 Current information about other membership privileges and qualification requirements for the various membership levels are provided on Elite Hotels’ website.
7.1 Any disputes regarding all or parts of the contents of these terms and conditions will be resolved according to Swedish law and will be settled in a Swedish court. Elite Hotels is not responsible for events arising due to legal enactments, government decisions, and acts of war, strike, blockade, boycott, lockout or other similar circumstances.
